DC is Mentioned Once in 2014 Harvey Award Nominations

Danny Miki earned the sole nomination for DC Comics.

The Harvey Awards announced the nominees for this summer's Harvey Awards, and surprisingly (or I guess unsurprisingly) DC was left almost entirely off the ballot.  While Marvel received 11 nominations (almost all of which were related to Daredevil and Hawkeye), only one DC creator, Batman inker Danny Miki, was named a finalist.  BOOM! had the most nominations, with 24, while both Marvel and Image had 11.

Some standout nominees include Nate Powell, for his work on March: Book One, Archie's Afterlife with Archie series, Lora Innes' The Dreamer webcomic and Only Living Boy, written by David Gallaher, a friend of the site.

Final ballots are due by August 18th, and the winners will be announced September 6th.  Only comics professionals are eligible to vote.  Congratulations to all those nominated.
