Marvel announced a Captain America and the Mighty Avengers series at Friday's Avengers NOW! panel. Written by Al Ewing with art by Luke Ross, the series will serve as a relaunch of Marvel's Mighty Avengers series, which was notable in that in featured a cast of predominantly non-white characters. Few details were given about the series, other than that both Sam Wilson (who will be taking up the mantle of Captain America in the coming months) and Spider-Man will both be joining the team. The series will be released in November.
