Marvel announced three new Star Wars series, all of which will be set immediately after Episode IV. Star Wars will be written by Jason Aaron and drawn by John Cassaday. It's an ongoing series that follows that main Star Wars cast as they try to take advantage of the recent destruction of the Death Star. That series will be released in January.
The second series is a Darth Vader series created by the Iron Man creative team of Keiron Gillen and Salvador Larroca. This series will follow the Sith Lord as he tries to regain the Emperor's favor after the destruction of the Death Star. No word on whether this is a regular series or a mini-series, but it'll release in Februrary 2015.
The final book is a five issue Princess Leia miniseries by Mark Waid, Terry Dodson and Rachel Dodson. Once again set immediately after Episode IV, this series will show Leia coping with the destruction of Alderaan as well as the Rebel Alliance's greatest victory. That comic will come out in March 2015.
