Joe Hill revealed that Universal is adapting a trilogy of films based on his Locke and Key series.  Albert Torres is working on a script for the films, which will be produced by Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci, Bobby Cohen and IDW president Ted Adams.  Locke and Key was an Eisner Award winning horror series by Hill and artist Gabriel Rodriguez.  Fox previously attempted to adapt the series as a television show, but the network decided not to move forward with the film after a pilot episode had been produced.
