Source: What to Expect in Marvel's Agent Carter - Comic Con 2014 (video)
Having secured an 8 episode run for television some small details have began to come out about Marvel's Agent Carter. Previously we were briefed on the premise, that SSR Agent Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell) will find herself in a world not quite ready for a competent woman agent. She will be doing adminstrative work while secretly doing missions for Howard Stark. This, while try to cope with the loss of her love, Steve Rogers (aka. Captain America).
In a set of short interviews conducted by IGN at San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC), a few more tiny details were given. The 8 episode count was known, however, the executive producers (there were many interviewed Louis D'Esposito, Michele Fazekas, Tara Butters, Christopher Markus, and Stephen McFeely) see those 8 episodes as one 8-part movie. When asked about ties to the intelligence agency S.H.I.E.L.D. or the villainous Hydra organization, D'Esposito hinted somewhat at the short series continuing in some way, saying that these things would probably not be in the show's "first season".
When asked if we would be seeing any Marvel characters on the show, Markus and McFeely revealed that we would be seeing Howard and Tony Stark's bulter from the comics, Edwin Jarvis (in the Iron Man and Avengers movies Tony Stark has a A.I. system named J.A.R.V.I.S.). Javis will be an ally for Peggy and being close to Stark, Peggy may have some access to some "tech". McFeely also said that Jarvis was an important force in young Tony Stark's life.

They also teased that there will also be one major Marvel villain, but cannot tell who it is.
Markus and McFeely also gave a small update on the status of the movie Captain America 3. They mentioned it is going well, they start shooting next April, and they are script-wise they are in mid-first draft. "It's gigantic" Markus claims.
