The WB has announced an ambitious slate of nine superhero films based off a new DC superhero content. "Untitled DC Film" will debut in August 2016, with 8 sequels on the way. WB also has 8 additional "Untitled DC Films" planned through 2020.
"We're super excited about "Untitled DC Film" and can't wait to share its world with a whole new audience of superhero fans," said a WB spokesperson.
"Untitled DC Film" will star "An Actor/Actress to be Named Later", an upcoming star in Hollywood primed to break out. It will be directed by "A Director to be Named Later", which was a bit of a suprising choice, but he does have fans so it'll probably turned out alright. No word on who the villains of the film will be, but we're guessing it'll be "Generic Superhero Film Villain That Shares a Name With a Character From a Comic", which is a disappointing option, in my opinion.
Here's the full slate of Untitled DC Films and release dates.
Aug. 5, 2016: Untitled DC Film
June 23, 2017: Untitled DC Film
Nov. 17, 2017: Untitled DC Film
