Looks like all those reports of Marvel developing the Inhumans as a sort of X-Men replacement since Fox holds the film rights to mutants might not have been too off base. Collider reports that Marvel has a script, written by Joe Robert Cole, and they're moving forward with finding a director. Cole comes from the same screenwriters program as Nicole Perlman, who wrote Guardians. As was the case with that film, a director will probably come on board and add his or her personal touch to the script. Vin Diesel is rumored to be in line to play Black Bolt. If an Inhumans movie is successful, Marvel will probably be looking at a Paste Pot Pete flick next, since apparently they can put anything in theaters and make hundreds of millions of dollars.
Well, unless it's a female-led superhero movie. In that case, the timing just isn't right, according to liar Kevin Feige.
