The CW has announced that Amy Gumenick will play Cupid in two episodes of Arrow this season. Gumerick is a Supernatural alum, and will appear in the show's sixth and seventh episodes this season. In the comics, Cupid is a dangerously obsessed fan of Green Arrow's, who kills several of his villains to prove her love for the Emerald Archer. Arrow producer Andrew Kreisberg created the character during his run on the Green Arrow/Black Canary series.
In non-comics character casting news, Arrow also cast Nolan Funk as...Cooper Seldon, Felicity's hacker ex-boyfriend. Yeah, they basically named the character after Sheldon Cooper from The Big Bang Theory.
