Tech Times unveiled that Warner Bros. has registered web domains for four unannounced movie franchises. The studio recently
purchased renewed domains related to Aquaman, Wonder Woman, Shazam and Justice League movies this summer following reports that all four movies were under some sort of development at WB. Currently, JusticeLeagueFilm.com, ShazamMovie.com, WonderWomanTheMovie.com and AquamanMovie.com all lead to the WB's web page, and WHOIS searches confirm that the URLs are owned by the studio.
This is probably the strongest confirmation that WB is about to make some major movie anouncements. We already know that Gal Gadot, who'll be playing Wonder Woman in the upcoming Batman v. Superman: Buttchins of Justice film, has a three picture deal with WB. While not officially announced by the studio, Jason Momoa and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson are allegedly attached to the Aquaman and Shazam projects, with Johnson going as far as to confirm he's working on the Shazam movie in recent weeks..
You'll recall that Marvel/Disney also purchased several Guardians of the Galaxy URLs a few months before announcing the movie at SDCC.
While there's no word when the movies will be announced, a pretty good bet is that it'll happen before the holidays. Stay tuned to the Outhouse for more info.
UPDATE: As someone pointed out somewhere, the URL registrations have been in existence for quite some time. However, all four were recently renewed and set up to direct to WB's home page. Sorry folks, it's a slow news day.
