That's what Bleeding Cool is claiming, and we know how accurate they are.
Source: Bleeding Cool
Bleeding Cool, the site famous for once claiming that Joss Whedon was pursuing a Firefly reboot, is reporting that Michael Green, a TV writer with credits on Heroes, Arrow and Smallville, is actively pitching a new Supergirl TV series to networks. Green previously was the co-writer of the Supergirl comic when the series relaunched as part of the New 52. Green is also a producer for the upcoming Starz adaptation of American Gods.
With five other DC properties appearing on television this television season, could networks support a sixth? Could this be the fabled live-action comic book property starring a female character that everyone has been clamoring for? Is this just another outlandish rumor pushed by Bleeding Cool to get those sweet, sweet site-sustaining hits?
We don't know.
But what we do know is that Bleeding Cool has a source. A reliable source who claims that it's true. And that's good enough for us to write an article about it.
