Agent Carter Casts Jarvis...BUT IT'S NOT PAUL BETTANY?!?!?

The shocking news was announced today.

Marvel has announced that British actor James D'Arcy will play Edwin Jarvis in ABC's Agent Carter series.  It was previously revealed that Tony Stark's famed butler would appear on ABC show, which follows Hayley Atwell's Peggy Carter character forming SHIELD in the aftermath of World War II, during SDCC, but an actor hadn't been cast until now.  D'arcy's not a well known actor in America, but he does have an extensive filmography, mainly in British series.

JARVIS, an AI system created by Tony Stark that has appeared in all three Iron Man films and Avengers, was voiced by Paul Bettany.  Bettany will play the Vision in Avengers: Age of Ultron. It's yet to be revealed how the JARVIS AI is related to Jarvis, who will be Howard Stark's butler and an ally of Carter in the ABC series.
