Warner Bros. and Machinima have come forth to announce that they are bringing the animated miniseries, Justice League: Gods and Monsters Chronicles to Machinima in 2015. This is not to be confused with the Justice League: Gods and Monsters original movie revealed at San Diego Comic-Con earlier this year, but is related to it. Both projects share a similar name to the JLA: Gods and Monsters comic from 2001 but are said not to be based on it.
Batman: The Animated Series producers Bruce Timm and Alan Burnett will be involved with both Justice League: Gods and Monsters projects. Machinima, whose audience was described as elusive, will be the first place that fans will get to see Justice League: Gods and Monsters Chronicles. It is the first project from Warner Bros.’ digital content production unit, led by Sam Register.
Very little is known about this project and no date (beyond "2015" and a "few weeks before the Justice League: Gods and Monsters film") has been confirmed. Here is a brief description of what to look forward to:
"Justice League: Gods and Monsters Chronicles" explores a newly conceived reality in the DC Universe where Justice League members Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman are much darker versions of the Super Heroes that people think they know.
