Marvel held a special event today to discuss the Marvel Cinematic Universe Phase 3 slate of movies. The Outhouse's invitation to the event must have been lost as we had to follow the liveblog instead.
The event is still going on so we will update this when it completes. However there was big news to announce. Like WB/DC did before, Marvel revealed a bunch of titles and dates for their future films:
- Captain America: Civil War - May 6, 2016
- Doctor Strange - November 4, 2016
- Guardians of the Galaxy untitled sequel - May 5, 2017
- Thor: Ragnarok - July 28, 2017
- Black Panther - November 3, 2017
- Captain Marvel (yes, Carol Danvers) - July 6, 2018
- Inhumans - November 2, 2018
- Avengers: Infinity War Part I - May 4, 2018
- Avengers: Inifinity War Part II - May 3, 2019
Article will be updated following the event.
UPDATE: Most of the announcements from the event were posted above. As is to be expected, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige was present at the event, along with Avengers director Joss Whedon. James Gunn, director of Guardians of the Galaxy, sent along word via a pre-recorded video.
Feige guided the audience through the announcements, saying that Doctor Strange will "Open up a whole new world for the cinematic universe". He also mentioned that "Ragnarok" means "The end of all things" (though that did not end the movie announcements). The audience was also treated to more Avengers: Age of Ultron footage and an appearance by Chris Evans (Steve Rogers, Captain America) and Robert Downey Jr. (Tony Stark, Iron Man). Chadwick Boseman was announced as Black Panther, and made a live appearance!

The news portion ended and opened up to a Q&A session. The Doctor Strange casting has NOT been confirmed and that's why it was not announced today. Regarding the casting of Captain Marvel, they said that the writer and director will be announced first. It might seem obvious but for now there will be no Hulk solo movie. Though there is no solo movie yet, Feige says that Black Widow will play a "key, key role" in things.
