'Justice League: Gods & Monsters' First Look

With the premiere of Batman vs. Robin taking place at Wonder Con this weekend, we're getting our first glance at the next (and final) DC animated movie of the year.

It feels like ages ago when we first reported about Justice League: Gods & Monsters when it was announced at SDCC last year (which had a misconception that Bruce Timm was behind it, but sadly we learned that was just a mistake).  At first given the clarification we only knew that fellow Batman: The Animated Series allum Alan Burnett (who also wrote the AMAZING Sinestro Corps War: Cyborg Superman #1 many years ago) and directed by Sam Liu (All-Star Superman, Batman/Superman: Public Enemies). Now it looks like Bruce Timm did design the characters for the feature and did some of the story (some outlets are reporting this, but after last time, this reporter is waiting until FULL confirmation).

Nerds on the Rocks got the execlusive  first look of Wonder Woman who is a New God, Vampire Batman (Kirk Langstrom in the role, not from the famous Elseworlds Batman story Bloodstorm), Superman (whose the son of General Zod):

Also more screen-caps were posted of the movie's versions of Lois Lane, Lex Luthor, and Darkseid (yes, that is actually Darkseid and not Mongul as Nerds on the Rocks got a second screen-cap of the ruler of Apoklips looking rather Bruce Timm-like. Which again asks the question if he did the designs on this?):

Not enough? How about the trailer to the movie! Here it is:

Justice League: Gods & Monsters will be out sometime in late summer of this year (probably late July/early August).
