Star Wars: The Force Awakens takes the cover of the June edition of Vanity Fair magazine, and famed photographer Annie Leibovitz is the one who shot Han Solo and the gang.

On the cover we get a mix of the old and new, Finn (John Boyega), BB-8, Rey (Daisy Ridley), Chewbacca (probably Peter Mayhew), and Han Solo (Harrison Ford) in what looks like the Millenium Falcon.

Leibovitz didn't just travel to the Pinewood Studios in London to shoot the cover though, Vanity Fair also confirmed some other character details via behind-the-scenes shots from her and coverage from Vanity Fair's Bruce Handy.

Here are the images released so far:

Vanity Fair also mentions that there is one more character to be revealed tomorrow at 4:00pm ET if you sign up for their newsletter. This would be likely be Gwendoline Christie's character, who many think is Captain Phasma.

On character mentioned in the article but not shown was Jar Jar Binks. Seems Abrams had thoughts about a cameo by the character… as bones in a desert scene. There may be new hope for this film after all.

Enjoy your day and May the 4th be with you…
