EXXXCLUSIVE: Brian Bendis in Talks to Play

Perhaps this is the reason Uncanny X-Men #600 has been pushed back??

Source: Cinema Blend

Earlier today, Cinema Blend reported on a rumor that classic 80s cartoon villain Krang will make an appearance in Michael Bay's TMNT 2. Though concept art of Krang supposedly appeared on the web last year, it's been six months or so, which is plenty of time to make it acceptable to post the rumor again and score some hits. Here's what Cinema Blend had to say:

According to a source close to production, Krang will be making his live-action debut in TMNT 2. This source said that the production recently filmed a scene last week involving a number of extras and the character's arrival on Earth through a portal of some sort. We have yet to confirm this information outside of the mentioned source, but given all we know of this current run of films and the rumors, we have every reason to trust this intel.

Not to be outdone, The Outhouse contacted our own sources, who are 100% as real and "close to production" as Cinema Blend's to find out if they had any news on the casting for this beloved character. Unfortunately, our sources were unable to tell us who will be playing the little brain,  As it turns out, our sources were able to confirm that superstar Marvel Comics writer "The Great One" Brian Bendis is currently at the top of a short list to play Krang's body. Though "The Great One" has no prior acting experience, he does seem like the perfect physical fit for the role.

It is currently unknown how Bendis will manage a schedule of both writing comic books and starring in a major motion picture, but it's possible that Bendis has hundreds of script pages in reserve of characters eating and engaging in meaningless dialog that could be used on whatever his post-Secret Wars book is without anyone noticing any difference. Bendis has been all over the Hollywood gossip scene as of late, having recently been photographed on the set of DC Comics' Suicide Squad film.

Asked for comment on his film aspirations, Bendis told The Outhouse, "RRRAAARRRRRGGHHHHHHHHH!" and lunged at us menacingly. We'll keep you updated.
