'Akame ga Kill!', 'Michiko & Hatchin' Are Coming to Toonami

'Akame ga Kill!', 'Michiko & Hatchin' Are Coming to Toonami

The two anime will be replacing InuYasha: the Final Act and Kill La Kill once their respective runs air on June 20th and August 8th.

With InuYasha: The Final Act about to deliver it's "final act" aka final episode, and with Kill la Kill in the home stretch (seven episodes left) before it ends, you knew Toonami wasn't going to wait long to reveal their replacements. This weekend, at theirl MomoCon 2015 panel, they unveiled the two shows that'll replace both: Akame ga Kill! (taking over for Kill la Kill August 8th no doubt in it's 11:30 pm CT slot), Michiko & Hatchin (June 20th replacing InuYasha no doubt in it's time-slot 12:30 am CT)).

Both shows have a nice lengthy run: Akame with twenty-four episodes, and Michiko & Hatchin with twenty-two episodes. Here's the openings to both shows:
