For most of first two Kung Fu Panda movies, Po (Jack Black) was the only the panda appearing on screen. At the end of the Kung Fu Panda 2 however, there is a brief scene featuring a panda village and a glimpse of Po's biological father.
Well, it looks like in Kung Fu Panda 3 we'll get to visit that panda village and meet Po's father. Plus a whole lot of other pandas, including Po's betrothed. Take a look:
Po with his biological father, Li (Bryan Cranston). Li is described as "the master of chilling"
Mei Mei (Rebel Wilson) is Po's betrothed, an aspiring ribbon dancer.
There will be a lot of panda babies in the village
Here's the plot synopsis for the film:
In 2016, one of the most successful animated franchises in the world returns with its biggest comedy adventure yet, KUNG FU PANDA 3. When Po's long-lost panda father suddenly reappears, the reunited duo travels to a secret panda paradise to meet scores of hilarious new panda characters. But when the supernatural villain Kai begins to sweep across China defeating all the kung fu masters, Po must do the impossible—learn to train a village full of his fun-loving, clumsy brethren to become the ultimate band of Kung Fu Pandas!
Don't worry fans, the other Kung Fu Masters will also appear, and Po's adoptive father Mr. Ping, should also make an appearance as his voice actor (James Hong) is listed in the credits. Kung Fu Panda 3 rolls into theaters January 29, 2016.
