When the current "House of Wolves" expansion for Destiny expanded on player levels and weapons one area not covered and I wondered why was abilities. The game always had more than two slots of abilities. With two expansion packs in, I wondered why we still never got more released?
Well, at E3 today Bungie released the next (and I believe final before the sequel is released) expansion pack for Destiny called "The Taken King". Sure enough, one of the new things this expansion pack does is give new abilities to your guardians classes.
So what's this expansion pack focus on? Well, we're back to the Hive again this time with Oryx (players known the Hive had a Shrine to him along with other various elements that hinted of him throughout the Moon game area), whose gunning for you given you took out his son Crota (antagonist of first Destiny expansion, "The Dark Below").
Destiny: "The Taken King" expansion will arrive on September 15th. Until then, this reporter will be joyously owning in the Crucible/Iron Banner or assisting you on strikes with the PS3 version until then.
