Release Shocker: Here's a Preview for the Final Issue of Fraction and Aja's

Suck it, Image United #3!

Source: EW

Racing to beat the not-a-reboot reboot that will follow Marvel's Secret Wars super-mega-crossover event, Matt Fraction and David Aja have finally turned in the pages for Hawkeye #22, the finale to their series that began in 2012. The series has suffered from comically long delays, with something like three issues coming out last year, with the last one in February (the only issue this year). Apparently, it takes Fraction four months to figure out the proper number and placement of the word "bro" in his scripts. In any case, Entertainment Weekly claims that this is the final issue, though the solicit text calls it "Finale Part 1." Hopefully that solicit text is a mistake, because I would like to read the end of this series before I die of old age. Anyway, here's some unlettered pages, with a release date of July 15th:

The Finale, Part 1: • David. Clint. Barney. The Building. The Tracksuit Draculas. The Clown. • Ever seen "Rio Bravo?" Check it out, it's pretty good.

Edit: The solicitation listed is from the previous issue of Hawkeye, issue #21. The issue to be released is #22. There is no solicitation for the issue at this time. The numbering in the article has been changed to reflect the proper numbering.
