Read an Early Version of the Double Take Launch Title

You backed the Kickstarter. You're buying the comics. You love The Outhouse. You are getting sleepy. Verrry sleeeeepy. Crap, we were supposed to do that part first.

In September, Double Take, the new comic book publisher led by Bill Jemas and backed by Take-Two Interactive, will launch 10 new #1 comics in its Ultimate Night of the Living Dead line, set in the universe of the classic (and public domain) film.

Either because The Outhouse has sold out to the corporate man, or because we're hoping to get an EXXXCLUSIVE interview with Jemas where we can ask him nothing but questions about Marville, Double Take is letting us preview an early version of one of those books every Wednesday from now until launch day.

Check it out below. It uses a special digital storyboard format similar to some other digital platforms that makes reading it on screens fun. These are not the final pages you'll be seeing in the printed book (the lettering will be redone, for one thing), but you can get a pretty good idea of whether you'll find the stories interesting if you check it out.

If the embedded version is too small for you, you can go to Double Take's website and read it there in glorious full screen (you can see panels from other books as well). All of Double Take's launch books will be available on their website in this format, FOR FREE, on launch day.

Z-MEN #1 (MR)
(W) Jeff McComsey (A) Kurt Tiede, Alisson Rodrigues (CA) TBD
Dead and/or alive. LBJ orders the Secret Service to bring him back a Zombie. Some of this series transpires in the Night of the Living Dead universe, most does not. None of the film's creators are involved in our creative.

Remember, Double Take is supporting us, so if you support them, you're supporting us too. And so we owe you a hand job (this is actually in our advertising contract). Find out more at Double Take's website.
