At San Diego Comic Con yesterday, or the day before, or tomorrow, or a week from next Tuesday - who the hell can keep track?! - WB Animated announced an animated version of the classic 1988 comic by Alan Moore and Brian Bolland, Batman: The Killing Joke. Though The Killing Joke stirred up some controversy recently when a cover homaging it by Rafael Albuquerque was pulled by DC Comics because it didn't fit the tone of the Batgirl comic it was set to grace, we're not going to bring any of that up because the last thing anyone wants is yet another long comment thread arguing about "SJWs" and "censorship" (even though a private corporation deciding to change a mass-produced consumer product hardly qualifies as "censorship"). So we're totally just not gonna mention it at all. We won't even bring it up.
Presumably, Mark Hamill will return as The Joker for this, as he has said in the past that he would and Warner Bros would be stupid not to hire him.
