With Justice League: Gods & Monsters' release almost upon us, Warner Bros. animated is slowly revealing their next animated feature, Batman: Bad Blood, the third film of their animated Batman movie franchise. Interestingly, in a reversal of their usual hype, we know which characters will be involved and the cast behind it. It's just the plot that's a bit hazy at the moment (but we'll probably know more with whatever featurette will be added to JL: Gods & Monsters next week).
Batman: Bad Blood will feature Jason O'Mara (Bruce Wayne/Batman), Stuart Allan (Damien Wayne/Robin), Sean Maher (Dick Grayson/Nightwing) and Morena Baccarin (Talia Al Ghul) reprising their roles (though Baccarin's Al Ghul sat out the latest entry that came out this year, Batman vs. Robin).
Joining the cast for this will be Yvonne Strahovski (Kate Kane/Batwoman), Gaius Charles (Luke Fox/Batwing), and Ernie Hudson (Lucius Fox). That's basically all we know other than here's our first look at Strahovski's Batwoman in the animated feature (courtesy of TV Insider):
Batman: Bad Blood will be the first animated feature from Warner Bros. to be released next year (probably late January, mid February as per their usual modus operandi). After that, Justice League vs. Titans (I don't know if this will be a movie that keeps up the animated DCU movieverse they've been building up), and finishing the year an adaptation of Batman: The Killing Joke.
