'Ant-Man': Mid-Credits Image & The Future Of Hank Pym

Contains a SPOILER if you haven't seen the Ant-Man movie…

Again, if you haven't seen the Ant-Man movie, beware, as this article contains SPOILERS.

If you've seen the movie, or if you just don't care about the spoilers, and you stayed through half the credits, you've seen what appears to be the origin story of the new Wasp. Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) revealed to his daughter Hope Van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly) an advanced Wasp prototype suit for them to complete and Hope to use.

According to MoviewebMarvel has released an image from that mid-credits sequence, the image of the new Wasp suit. This reporter hasn't seen a link back to an official Marvel source, but here's the image:

We know that Hope won't be in Captain America: Civil War (though Ant-Man will be), though she seems very willing to be there for Marvel's future. How about the other main character in Ant-Man (no not Luis), Hank Pym?

Well, unfortunately unlike many other actors involved with Marvel movies, Michael Douglas was not signed on for multiple movies. Fortunately though, it sounds like he'd be up for more:

"I'm not signed up to anything more," he said. "I've learned a whole lot and would look forward to more if it comes my way but if not I've enjoyed the experience."

He also seems to want to tie up something from the first Ant-Man film…

"Now that I understand a bit more about Hank Pym too. I think in this one I had to carry a lot of plot and exposition. In the next one I hope things get a little more bizarre... the Quantum Realm!"

What do you think? What would you like to see from these characters in the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe?
