Okay, we're not really sure if this is part of the onslaught of news coming out of New York Comic Con, but as part of the mandate, we're slapping the NYCC tag on this sucker.

We've known that plans were officially underway for a new Incredibles movie since Disney's Robert Iger's announcement in 2014. Disney also meanly teased us about Incredibles 2 during this year's D23 Expo by putting up a poster for it but not saying anything about it. Well finally we know something more about this movie, its release date. Disney has released information about a bunch of its upcoming movies and Incredibles 2 will be smashing into theaters June 21, 2019.

Oy that's going to be a long wait.

Disney also announced, like in their Marvel movie announcements today, that one of their movies will be getting pushed back. Toy Story 4 was scheduled to have a release date of June 16, 2017 but has been put back into storage for a year until June 15, 2018. Toy Story 4's release date will not be unfilled though, taking its place is Cars 3. Ka-chow.

Here's the rest of the Disney future movie schedule:

  • 11/22/17 Coco (Pixar Day of the Dead movie)
  • 12/22/17 Untitled Disney live-action fairy tale
  • 03/09/18 Gigantic (Jack and the Beanstalk animated tale)
  • 11/12/18 Untitled Disney live-action fairy tale
  • 03/29/19 Untitled Disney live-action fairy tale
  • 04/12/19 Untitled Disneytoon Studios film
  • 11/08/19 Untitled Disney live-action fairy tale
  • 03/13/20 Untitled Pixar animated film
  • 06/19/20 Untitled Pixar animated film
  • 11/25/20 Untitled Disney Animation film
