Though mobile games news generally don't interest most of the Outhouse Bullpen, for those of the staff with some comics taste, when the title has "Avengers Academy" in it, interest is piqued.
Unfortunately the game, Marvel Avengers Academy, wasn't inspired by the 2010 comic by Christos Gage and Mike McKone and looks more like post-The Crossing Teen Tony.
Yes, in Marvel Avengers Academy developed by TinyCo (Family Guy: The Quest for Stuff) you will be seeing teenaged versions of your favorite Marvel characters (a bit like the Gotham High the nixedDC cartoon). The game's official website describes the game:
