Felicia Day Cast as the Next Mad for Revamped Mystery Science Theater 3000!!!

She's gonna send you cheesy movies. The worst she can find! Fa-la-la! Also the new voices of Tom Servo and Crow T. Robot revealed.

So with two weeks in the can, the Kickstarter for Mystery Science Theater 3000 is shaping up quite nicely. It's almost near it's next stretch goal of three additional episodes (we're officially getting three, but there's a possibly for that many more). So during his regular announcements, series creator Joel Hodgson revealed who would be playing the next mad scientist for the series: Felicia Day

She'll be playing Kinga Forrester, the daughter of Clayton Forrester and granddaughter to Pearl Forrester, the two mads who sent horrible movies to test subjects to drive them insane and then show it to the world so they could rule it!!!

Also of note is that Hodgson also revealed who would be voicing Tom Servo and Crow T. Robot for the series as well. He revealed that comedians Hampton Yount and Baron Vaughn would be voicing the snarky duo for the revamp.

Of course Hodgson then teased one more reveal (which this reporter knew was coming and probably one more as well) in that a new silhouette popped up on the starter page of "a new henchman" to be lorded over by Kinga (wait how is that a bad thing?) ala Dr. Larry, TV's Frank, Professor Bobo, and Observer.  Not to mention a new voice for Gypsy (who'll probably pop up as the final silhouette this reporter assumes).

Also of note, remember, given Thanksgiving is this Thursday, Shout! Factory will be having another MST3K "Bad Turkey" marathon hosted again by Joel himself via their streaming service. Hey, maybe he'll reveal more info during it?
