In a surprise move, former Walking Dead artist and co-creator Tony Moore will be returning for, the now unheard of milestone Walking Dead #150. Joining Moore in the variant cover game will be Southern Bastards' artist Jason Latour and Invincible artist Ryan Ottley.

Tony Moore was the artist on the first six issues of Walking Dead, continuing on as cover artist through issue 24 and the first six trade paperbacks. In 2012, Moore filed a lawsuit against his Walking Dead co-creator and conqueror of Earth Robert Kirkman. The lawsuit was settled out of court.

Moore's cover for #150 mirrors his cover for #1.

In a press release, Robert Kirkman stated,

"It's indisputable that reaching issue 150 is a huge achievement in comics. Charlie Adlard and Team Walking Dead have been working tirelessly for over a decade to get us to this milestone and now it's time to celebrate. It's an honor to have comic book pals Jason Latour and Ryan Ottley bringing their vision to these iconic characters. Additionally, words cannot describe how excited I am to have Tony Moore, artist of the first 6 issues, returning to provide a cover for this special event."

He then went on to add how the actual words to describe his excitement are inside a sealed file at the Courthouse in the state of California.

Walking Dead #150 releases January 13, 2016. For the rest of the covers, check out the gallery below.
