The Nightmare Returns: Ultimate Spider-Man and Avengers Assemble New Seasons Debuting Soon!

The fourth and third seasons of Marvel's animated shows will arrive on February 21st and March 13th!

Yes, that picture above is apparently an actual image from the show. Where the hell did the show's animation budget go?! Anyway, Animation World Network revealed that the new seasons of Ultimate Spider-Man and Avengers Assemble are on the horizon.

First up, on February 21st at 9:00 am EST, a new season of former entitled: "Spider-Man vs. the Sinister Six" arrives (I guess since this is Marvel's way of rebranding ala their comics, just without the insane amount of variants). As for the overall plot of the season as the title suggests, Spider-Man takes on the Sinister Six (Doctor Octopus and-- well we don't know who yet is the other five members. Just that A.I.M. will be teaming up with the six fellows. Which will mean Spider-Man will have to team-up with some heroes to bring them down. Specifically Iron Spider (Amadeus Cho), Agent Venom (Flash Thompson), Spider-Man (Miles Morales), and the mysterious Scarlet Spider.

Meanwhile the Avengers will reassemble on March 13th 8:30 am EST with "Avengers: Ultron Revolution" (for those asking yourself why they are a year late with this, instead of going with Thanos. They had Thanos in Season 2 be the opening series big bad. And then beat him halfway in the season). So expect the same with Ultron.

Though this season is bringing out the big guns of Avengers villains. Besides the titular Ultron, this season the Avengers will lock horns with Baron Zemo and the Masters of Evil along with Kang the Conqueror. Not only that, there will be an adaptation of the Civil War story-line (because synergy), and the following heroes will be making their debuts on the show: Black Panther, Captain Marvel (Carol Danvers), Ant-Man (Scott Lang), Doctor Strange and Ms. Marvel (Kamala Khan).
