TRAILER: Zombie Invasion in Full Swing in Double Take Third Issues, Out Next Month

Also, Double Take is really beginning to stretch the limits of the definition of "Genesis."

Outhouse advertising partners and all around swell folks Double Take have released a trailer for their next set of Ultimate Night of the Living Dead comics, which, if you haven't been following along, are ten ongoing series set in a shared universe building off the 60s classic Night of the Living Dead, with quite a few twists and some modern updates. One of really cool things about these comics, besides all the hot zombie action, is the fact that they're priced at just $2.50 for a single issue, and, if you purchase a Super Pack, Double Take's collected package of all ten series, the price drops to just $2 per issue, which, honestly, is what comics should fucking cost in the first place.

That being said, we do have to take issue with one thing, which is the use of the word "Genesis" for the Super Pack titles. Calling the first set of issues, the #1s, "Genesis" made sense. It was the beginning of a new universe, and the comics are as critically acclaimed as The Bible. Calling the second set of issues "Genesis II" was cute. But "Genesis III???" Now you're pushing it, Double Take.

And with that harsh criticism, you can tell that we're treating our advertisers fairly, so you can take our totally unbiased word at face value when we say that these comics are the best thing ever created (and that includes the actual universe created in the original Genesis) and you should go out and buy all of them right away!

Here's the trailer:

Super Packs for issues #1 and #2 are available, and #3 will be out next month. Check out Double Take's website for more info.
