Dark Knight III: The Master Race may be a threequel to a book for which no one even wanted a sequel, and it may not have saved DC from disastrous market share losses, and it may not even be written by Frank Miller despite being advertised as such, but in the latest failing for the comic, it can't even manage to get released on time. According to Bleeding Cool, issue #3 has been pushed back from January 20 to February 24th, resulting in a cascade of delays for the rest of the series. For instance, the fourth issue will now come out on April 13 instead of March 16, and The Dark Knight Returns: The Last Crusade fill-in issue has been pushed back from February 17 to April 30. Finally issue #5, will come out on May 18 instead of April 20, so you can't even get ridiculously high to celebrate the fact that you've crossed the line to the back half this trainwreck. Well, actually, we guess you can, but it won't be on that special day anymore.
