Earlier in the month, Season 2 of Young Justice was FINALLY added to Netflix (not that it mattered to me given I own the DVDs and Blu-Rays of the series). On the day it hit, series co-creator Greg Weisman tweeted:
RT! #YoungJustice S1 AND S2 now on Netflix! Want YJ S3? One of best things u can do is watch ALL eps over & over on Netflix. Or buy BluRays!— Greg Weisman (@Greg_Weisman) February 2, 2016
Now of course you can just simply nod at the cute thought, do it regardless (because it was a fun series), or just go watch what Marvel has going on animated on Netflix (just don't, save Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes). HOWEVER, earlier this week voice actor for the show Khary Payton (Aqualad, Black Manta) put his two cents in and suddenly had a "good feeling" about a third season. Here's the Twitter posts the actor made:
I've heard absolutely nothing official, but for some reason, I have a REAL GOOD FEELING about #YoungJustice season 3!!!— Khary Payton (@kharypayton) February 11, 2016
That's when another actor on the show, Danica McKellar (Miss Martian) continued the fire started and has run with it. She has done the heaviest campaigning in trying to get fans' attention also into liking this Facebook page:
Of course, this has awoken the fanbase for the show who've taken to Twitter trying once again to try and get their ultimate dream realized: a third season. Though to accomplish this impossible dream it seems one must either A.) Binge watch the series again on Netflix. or B.) Purchase the Blu-Ray collected sets over at Warner Bros Archive. C.) Just use the hash tag #RenewYoungJustice. But will this mean anything in the end? Who's to say. Other than I know A LOT of you are still bitter over the cancellation of the show. So much so it won Most Maddening Moment back to back and the nomination had to be retired last year due to the overwhelming hate. Will it succeed? Who knows other than we've all suffered a Teen Titans Go! episode homaging mocking the more adult storytelling structure. Though the fanbase did it once. Why not again?
Until then, I say GOOD DAY!
