'Tango & Cash' Reunion Happening in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2!!!

The reunion you always wanted, gets put in the superhero sequel you're dying for next year.

Okay so far it's only a rumor, as reported by the Daily News with a picture of Sylvester Stallone going to the set for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 with a script in hand (Daily News muses it's for the movie, and note also that he was picked up by the people who usually drive Chris Pratt to the set).

Of course this isn't Stallone's first jaunt into a superhero movie. I know some would rather like to forget his original venture, but I cannot. Nor, can I not entertain the possibility that we have possibly Stallone in a movie with Kurt Russell already confirmed in it. Which means that Guardians vol.  2 director James Gunn has possibly given us what we've all secretly wanted: a movie that's secretly a reunion between Tango & Cash.

If only Robert Z'dar was still alive to also co-star in this film to make this Marvel sequel even more extra special. However, (and this is speculation) if Stallone is on set to interact with the actors and in the end is playing the film's supposed heavy, Ego: the Living Planet. Then holy shitsnacks! That's just.. beautiful and poetic. Make it happen Gunn!

Unless of course, you're just doing this to get Tango and Cash in the same room together with the Guardians of the Galaxy. Then by all means. Do that too. I guess we'll find out when Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is released on May 5, 2017.
