Peter Serafinowicz to Spoon it Up on 'the Tick'

The comedian/actor hopefully will do just that as he's been cast as the titular character for the Amazon pilot.

Well that took a bit, but we've got ourselves a Tick now. Two weeks ago we found out that Amazon would be having a pilot for the Tick (the second live-action go-around). It will be Peter Serafinowicz (voice of Darth Maul in Star Wars: Episode I, a Star Lord in Guardians of the Galaxy).

This was broken by Deadline, who also reports now that former live-action Tick, Patrick Warburton will serve as executive-producer on the series. Serafinowicz joins a cast that already has Arthur (Griffin Newman) and his sister Dot (Valorie Curry).

Still no word when the pilot will arrive, or an official director for it.
