REPORT: DC Interactive FCBD Map to Include Symbol to Warn of Alleged Sexual Harassers

Find out where to find comics such as SUICIDE SQUAD #1 FCBD SPECIAL EDITION and the all new DC SUPER HERO GIRLS #1 FCBD SPECIAL EDITION, and where to probably avoid.

Source: Press Release

In order to help fans find local comic book shops participating in Free Comic Book Day by giving away free DC Comics and materials or featuring DC Comics creators at in-store events, the publisher has released an interactive map showing all of the locations where fans can interact with DC Comics this Saturday. The press release notes:

Many comic shops also host Free Comic Book Day parties and events that sometimes feature DC writers and artists as guests. Curious if any of those shops are in your neighborhood? To help you answer that question, we've put together an easy-to-use interactive map, highlighting both the shops that are celebrating Free Comic Book Day as well as many of the ones that are hosting DC talent signings. Please note that some of these signings may require wristbands or preregistration, so check the shop's website or social media accounts for details before heading down.

However, according to sources, the map also serves another purpose: warning women where to stay away from if they want to avoid members of the company's upper management who have been accused of sexual harassment. While pins on the map represent comic book stores where DC products can be found on Free Comic Book Day, and stars represent locations where DC creators will be meting fans, locations where alleged sexual harassment could occur at any time by persons with a history of being accused of sexual harassment who continue to work at the company will be denoted by a "skull and crossbones" icon.

Head over to DC's website to read their press release and try the map out for yourself!
