A fan, who later turned out to be Blade Runner 2 director Denis Villeneuvue in a hoodie and Red Sox hat, recently asked Jared Leto for his autograph. Leto, too busy writing space rock ballads to pay attention, ended up signing on the dotted line of a contract to join the cast of Blade Runner 2, alongside Harrison Ford, Ryan Gosling, and Robin Wright.
Villeneuvue gave an EXXXCLUSIVE statement to The Outhouse and said, "Shit. It worked for David Ayer."
Blade Runner 2, which will spoil the ambiguous ending of the first movie, hits theaters Oct 6, 2017.
The Untitled Blade Runner 2 Sequel will be brought to you by Alcon Entertainment, the same production company behind the upcoming films Hong Kong Phooey, Garfield, and Marvin The Martian.
