According to a report from THR which we swear we are not making up, Fox has acquired the rights to Stan Lee and plans to make an action movie about his life. In a move that probably has Ike Perlmutter wildly firing his gun around his office, the studio plans to make the film in the style of Kingsman: The Secret Service, Roger Moore's James Bond, and Malcolm McLaren in The Great Rock n' Roll Swindle. There's no writer or story yet, but the film will probably focus on Lee's daring adventures to take credit for the work of his collaborators, with villains such as Ditk-Face, who arrogantly believes that just because he drew an entire comic based on the loose concept of "guy with spider-powers" scrawled on a bar napkin he deserves co-creator credit, and Kingpin Kirby, a man with a powerful grip that can crush the pens he might use to sign away the rights to all of his creations as work-for-hire. It's unclear who will play Lee in the film, but sources tell The Outhouse that Lee himself will take credit for performing all the stunts. We'll keep you updated as more information becomes available.
