See The New Logo For 2017's 'DuckTales' Revival

Uh… We think it's a new logo…

DuckTales is getting an animated revival in 2017, just in time for its 30th anniversary. Back in March, we saw the first image for the new series and it was similar to the old series, though a bit looser and more illustrative.

Today, D23 (the official Disney fan club) is showing off the logo for the upcoming cartoon, calling it a "new logo". Take a look!

Oh wait… No, sorry folks, that's the logo from the 1987-90 television series… Here we go!

Oh, okay that second one IS the new logo. Huh. We guess if you play the "spot the difference" type of game you can see how it is "updated". Yes, yes it is now all yellow, with some Ben-Day dots in it. The rendering does seem a bit looser, like the new promo image, and the "shadow" cast is different.

Well the original DuckTales was pretty good, so if it is similar to that series, there isn't much to complain about.

The new DuckTales doesn't have a release date yet, but is due out in 2017… and yes, Woo-oo!
