Now Marvel Wants You To Draw The Darn Things Yourself

First they wanted you to color it yourself. What's next? Writing it too?

One step short of telling the reader to write the damn thing themselves, Marvel has announced a line of Connect The Dots books, in partnership with Ilex Press. Adult Connect The Dots books continue the trend of maturation in children's products, hot on the heels of adult coloring books. All illustrations are based on "Marvel's Finest" artists, meaning you too can draw like Rob Liefeld.

The first release will be Marvel's Amazing 1000 Dot-To-Dot Book and will include 20 "satisfyingly complex" Dot-To-Dots including Iron Man, Hawkeye, Thor, Ant Man and Captain America. The second will be Marvel's Spider-Man 1000 Dot-To-Dot Book, which will feature 20 characters connected to the web-slinger, including Jonah Jameson and Doctor Octopus. I'm looking forward to connecting the dots to see who dies from having their neck snapped off the Brooklyn Bridge.
