Batman v Superman VFX Breakdown Makes Movie Slightly More Bearable

Slightly being the keyword.

Batman v Superman was a commercial success, as it featured two of the most recognizable characters in modern history, but it was a critical failure because of how bad it actually was. Especially when people need to find ways to pass the time during the movie.

The movie, as with all of Zack Snyder's films, was a feast for the eyes, largely if you're into Batman killing people. Most of the film's visual effects were created by Scanline VFX, the company that worked on 300Man of Steel, and Suicide Squad.

Most of effects reel below focuses on the Batmobile and the Batwing, but also shows how much work goes into a quick scene like the people stranded on rooftops during a flood.

It doesn't help the movie when the producer basically says "We're stretched too thin."

Starring Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill and Gal Gadot, "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is now available for purchase on Digital HD, Blu-ray and DVD. Though, I'm not sure why you would.
