Cabal is in; Morgan is out.
A month before its original solicited release date, Elektra #1, from Marvel, is getting an artist change. Alec Morgan, original artist on the first issue, has been replaced with Juan Cabal. Morgan has already found new work though, drawing a backup with Marv Wolfman in Bullseye #1.
A Marvel spokesperson said the shifting artists was about finding the best book for each artist.
In an EXXXCLUSIVE, Marvel's Sales & Communications Administrator Chris D'Lando told The Outhouse, "You know how, like, when you're dating this girl, and then you see this hotter girl and you're like I wanna be on that, so you break up with the first one for the better one? That's pretty much it."
Cabal was already solicited for Elektra #2, so the artist change makes sense for the series.
