It's a whole different show now.
NBC's DC's Powerless was originally sold as a workplace comedy set at an insurance company, dealing with the lives of average people living in a super-powered world. Not anymore. The entire show has been retooled and rewritten to make it less of a clone of The Office. The show is now set in a branch of Wayne Enterprises, developing tools to protect citizens from collateral damage from superhero fights. Characters, locations, and plots have all changed.
Powerless is formerly showrun by Ben Queen and stars Vanessa Hudgens, Alan Tudyk, Danny Pudi, Ron Funches, Kate Micucci, and Christina Kirk.
The show airs February 2. Check out the trailer below.
