Fans will have to settle for a cartoon Constantine.
Source: Comic Book Dot Com
Constantine, starring Matt Ryan, ran for one season on NBC, despite having a large fanbase made up of the show's cast and crew. The CW was rumored to pick it up at one point, but ended up having Ryan reprise his role as a guest spot in the fourth season of Arrow.
The CW is giving the character another go now, as an animated series for CW Seed, a digital network. The show will have Ryan star again in 10 minute episodes, similar to the Vixen series that ran on CW Seed.
The show will share the same universe as Arrow, Flash, Legends Of Tomorrow, and Supergirl.
