The New Venom is the Same Old Venom in Venom #6

Well, at least it isn't full-on a Darkness rip off anymore.

I am not fond of the new Venom ongoing.

So, really the news trickling out from Marvel today that basically is something I care highly not of: the latest host for the symbiote Jackie Estacado will lose it by Venom #6. Why do you ask? The newest cover for #6 of the comic reveals that Eddie Brock, the original Venom is reclaiming the moniker.

No doubt Marvel is letting the cat out of the bag early given Bleeding Cool aces Ricch Johnston and Jude"TRAITOR"Terrror not too long ago theorized this angle with Venom #150 (I'd give you a link to either of their articles, but you know one's a shameful TRAITOR and the other will convert this to more clicky click-bait pip pip). Here's the cover of #6 with the official announcement:

 venom6

This still won't save the comic. It also still doesn't answer the long-standing question what happened to the prior Venom, Flash Thompson? All this comic just keeps trucking out is errors. The latest issue had even more of that (Estacado who's missing his fingers suddenly has them during some pages), so clearly the editor left this comic earlier than I did.  But, it'll probably force me to read this because you all love me in misery. Ugh.... You know a comic is truly unique when I can pick out the errors in it. ME!!! How can someone be worse than me? HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE?! How much alcohol have they've consumed?! These are the real questions that must be asked!!

Venom #6 is out in April.
