They'll produce a comic series and merchandise.

Mystery Science Theater 3000, the cult hit about a janitor trapped against his will by two mad scientists on the Satellite of Love and forced to watch a series of B movies as a part of the scientists' plot to take over the world, first aired in 1988, in a loving, but funny, send-up of old B movies. Now, Dark Horse is taking that premise to a new medium with a new comic series based on the show. It'll be interesting to see how well the visual gags translate to the page.
Original co-creator Joel Hodgson ran a Kickstarter in 2015 to show there's still an audience for the show, generating enough money to have 14 episodes airing this year on Netflix.
