Valiant Plans A Six-Figure Advertising Campaign For X-O Manowar

An advertising campaign is unheard of in comics.

Valiant Comics, the publisher that is really holding out for that influx of Hollywood money other publishers are getting despite only having a handful of titles, revealed at ComicsPRO that they'll spend the next five year's advertising budget, totaling over $100,000, on pushing X-O Manowar.

Valiant already announced that the series will come in a premium format and will stick to a rigid release schedule. In addition, the series will be broken into easily digestible three issue arcs, collected in $9.99 trades.

X-O Manowar #1 is set to release March 22, 2017.
