The sequel to Disney's animated movie Wreck-It Ralph was confirmed last year. Though not much information has been revealed about the sequel, aside from Ralph and Vanellope wrecking the internet, co-director Rich Moore did comment:
"it's looking right now like it's going to be a big cast" Moore says, and there will also be some new characters."
Though we don't the actual character yet, it does look like one of the new cast members has been found. The Tracking Board is reporting that Ana Ortiz has signed up to be in the sequel. The role is described as "small".
Ortiz is probably most well-known for her roles as Hilda Suarez in ABC's Ugly Betty, and Marisol Suarez on Devious Maids. For genre fans Ortiz played Anna Ramirez on the direct to DVD animated Batman: Gotham Knight. She isn't a stranger to Disney voicework either, playing Rafa in the animated Elena of Avalor.
The Wreck-It Ralph sequel crushes screens March 9, 2018.
