First Promo Image From 'Jurassic World 2'

Does the image hint at a barebones budget?

Before the Jurassic World movie in 2015, the Jurassic Park series of movies seemed to be at the edge of extinction. Sure, the original 1993 film (based on the novel by Michael Crichton) was a big hit, but Jurassic Park III (2001) was met with mixed reviews and the movie franchise went into hibernation until Jurassic World. That rest seemed to do the franchise well, with World being a big success. Which of course means sequel.

With Jurassic World 2 a little over a year away, it looks like they are ready to start promoting the film. Director JA Bayona tweeted the following image, calling it the first look at the film:

The image features a yet-to-be-identified youth, possibly the 9 year-old rumored to be sought after via a casting call. The image also features a bunch of dinosaur skeletons… Cool, are we going to get possessed skeletons or animatronic robot killer dinosaur skeletons in the sequel?

We'll probably find out a little more about the movie before it hatches in theaters June 22, 2018.
