'Tango & Cash' Reunion Still On For 'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2' Plus James Gunn Found And Cast Michael Rosenbaum Too!

Not only will the 80s reunion we've all been waiting is still on for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, but director James Gunn has found Michael Rosenbaum and cast him in the movie too! Probably to make up for the lack of Jack Palance.

We broke the news last year that the reunion we've all been waiting for will happen in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2: a Tango & Cash reunion. Oh, sure we may say no in public to the idea. But deep down we've been craving Sylvester Stallone and Kurt Russell to reunite to destroy anything that came their way. Well, it looks just like that as director James Gunn has FINALLY confirmed that Stallone will not only be in the movie, but will be playing a character from the comic books. Hopefully, the sequel will have a cherished scene like this one from the original 1989 classic:

Besides, the Tango & Cash reunion that'll happen in the movie, but Gunn has also revealed that he's found actor Michael Rosenbaum, from whatever corner of the Earth he's been hiding since Smallville ended. But James Gunn has found him and cast him too as a character from Marvel Comics.

Which characters? Who knows. I guess we'll have to see the movie. Until then, we must all watch Tango & Cash again (deep down you know you want too), along with the original Guardians of the Galaxy to prepare ourselves for this glorious film which will arrive in theaters May 5th.
