DC's latest Earth-shattering, world-changing, nothing-will-ever-be-the-same-again event will center around Batman, unlike previous events such as The Button, Justice League vs Suicide Squad, and Night of the Monster Men. This event, Dark Days, will kick off with two one-shot comics called Dark Days: The Forge and Dark Days: The Casting that promise to "reveal the dark underbelly of the DC Universe" before heading into a new line-wide event series. Creators on the two one-shots include Scott Snyder, James Tynion IV, Jim Lee, Andy Kubert, and John Romita Jr. Lee's involvement on the book must be limited to this piece of promotional art, which sources tell The Outhouse took him 5 years to draw.

Dark Days: The Forge and Dark Days: The Casting are set to hit on June 14 and July 12 respectively.
